80 pages long. 3 fashion spreads showing Pictorial Review patterns. The majority of the magazine is a standard woman's magazine of the time (stories, etc), but there are three fashion spreads showing patterns.
Pictorial Review sewing patterns were not dated, so the magazines are helpful for pattern dating. The number sequence here starts with 8117 and the highest number is 8154. Spread with fashion of "The South" is made up from patterns as well, with pattern numbers in the 7000s to early 8000s.The magazine was similar to McCalls and other periodicals of the time- mostly stories, cooking, other articles, advertisements, and fashion spreads for the for the patterns. If you’re unfamiliar with vintage magazines, know that they often showed images or text that are offensive today.
Fair to good. Has normal magazine wear including some folded corners, some tears, cover wear, some separation at the spine. Upper back cover corner is torn off (see last photo)
