This is a mid grade item. It will have enough minor defects that it is in clearly worse condition than a brand new freshly published comic, magazine, or book. Allowed defects for this grade include: a spine split of less than half an inch, minor water spotting or other residue, impacted corners, and an accumulation or spine stresses that may break color. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor defects or one or two moderate defects.

Volume 1 - 1st printing. Stories by Jack Williamson. Art and cover by Lee Elias. Blackthorne Publishing reprints the Sundays-only comic strip from the 1950s written by sci-fi legend Jack Williamson. This issue collects the strips from February 17, 1952 – June 14, 1953. In the 22nd century, pilot and spatial engineer Mike Flint has light-hearted adventures on the Asteroid Belt. Mike and his Venusian sidekick, Tham Thmith, investigate interplanetary malfeasance on The Diamond Asteroid. Then they match wits with Buck Bullard, Space Pirate, and encounter the space anomaly known as the Death Rock. Also featuring a behind-the-scenes article about the creation of the strip by Jack Williamson. 92 pages, B&W.
